Cirk La Putyka Academy – Aerial Silks Acrobatics

An opportunity for all who are interested in the circus world and would like to explore more techniques on aerial silks!
Children will learn how to prepare their bodies for aerial training, build on basic silk positions, and expand their range of movements and variations.
Together with instructor Petr Biel, participants will focus on the diversity of circus creation on silks as well as in other disciplines, meet new friends and acrobats, and develop their skills.

Please note: Due to the height limitations of the training space, this course is not suitable for advanced students.

For the 2025/2026 school year, the following categories are open:

• Cirk La Putyka Academy – Introduction to Aerial Acrobatics for children aged 10–13
  (For beginners – Thursdays 4:05–5:05 p.m.)
  
• Cirk La Putyka Academy – Aerial Acrobatics for children aged 10–13 (Intermediate)
  (For children who have already completed the basics – Thursdays 5:10–6:10 p.m.)
  

School Year Schedule 2025/2026:

• Winter semester: October 9, 2025 – January 29, 2026 – Fully booked
  
• Summer semester: February 5, 2026 – June 19, 2026
  

No classes on:

• Christmas break: December 15, 2025 – January 4, 2026
  
• Spring break for Prague 7: February 23 – March 1, 2026

About the Instructor
MgA. Petr Biel graduated from the Department of Nonverbal Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU). His artistic work focuses on an innovative approach to clowning, bringing new ideas and perspectives that challenge the traditional understanding of this craft.
He is currently active in Cirk La Putyka Studio and the Czech Cabaret Show, and he performs solo with his contemporary circus performance Clown Bailo.
