An opportunity for everyone interested in circus arts who would like to try more techniques on the aerial silks.
We will learn how to prepare the body for working on the silks within circus training, expand existing skills based on fundamental positions, and develop their variations. Together with instructor Petr Biel, you will focus on the diversity of circus creation on the silk as well as in other disciplines, meet new friends, acrobats, and explore their skills. Due to the height limitations of the room, the course is not suitable for highly advanced students.

For the 2025/2026 school year, we are opening these categories:

• CLP Academy: Aerial Acrobatics Basics for Children Ages 10–13
  (Courses suitable for children who are completely new to aerial silks)
  16:05–17:05
• CLP Academy: Aerial Acrobatics Basics for Children Ages 10–13
  (Courses suitable for children who have already completed basic silk training)
  17:10–18:10

Organization of the 2025/2026 school year:

• Winter semester: 9 October 2025 – 29 January 2026
• Summer semester: 5 February 2026 – 19 June 2026

No classes during:

• Christmas break: 15 December 2025 – 4 January 2026
• Spring break (Prague 7): 23 February – 1 March 2026

About the Instructor

MgA. Petr Biel graduated from the Department of Nonverbal Theatre at Prague’s AMU. His artistic work focuses on innovative approaches to clowning, bringing new ideas and perspectives that challenge traditional views of the craft. He currently works with Cirk La Putyka Studio and the Czech Cabaret Show. He also performs solo with his contemporary circus production Klaun Bailo.
