Křižík Pavilions

Křižíkovy pavilony_header

The Křižík Pavilions are located in the lower park section of Výstaviště and combine to form the Křižík Fountain amphitheatre. Thanks to the extensive reconstruction that all the buildings went through since 2020, the Křižík Pavilions offer ideal spaces for representative and exhibition events of all kinds. In the summer season, summer parties, gastronomic events and private parties could be held on their roofs, which are newly reconstructed too.

History and architecture

The General Czechoslovak Exhibition was held in 1991. On this occasion, a set of four exhibition pavilions, named in honour of Křižík, were built according to a design by architect Michal Brix in the lower part of the premises around Křižík Fountain, which also underwent reconstruction.

The pavilions have a simple steel structure painted white and are glazed around the perimeter. They are indicated by letters B to E. Both end pavilions (B and E) have an area of 1900 m² each, and the central pavilions (C and D) have 844 m² each.Historie a architektura
